Auto-tracking system smoothes patient transfer

PatLog™ Carrier is the motorized, computer-controlled transport trolley that transfers patients between the preparation room, imaging device and treatment room using an optical-tracking autopilot that follows lines marked on the floor. The operator (who always walks alongside) controls the speed via a hand-held unit. Programmed to run smoothly, PatLog™ Carrier passes through door openings and mazes with ease. Once in the treatment room, it glides to a stop in the perfect position for docking.
